Have found the RAL to be a remarkable receiver, definitely NOT the
two tube "blooper" you (or your father) built in HS. Interesting to
note that the 6D6 regenerative detector (at least in the RAL) has the
suppressor grid connected to the plate, not to ground as usual.
Haven't seen this in any other regen circuit of the period. Anyone
have a clue?
