The item's nomenclature of MX-22/ARR-2 and part number of 6357 apply to
a right angle with the expected male and female connections. It should
be essentially identical to the MC-211-* used in the SCR-274-N.
In addition to the ARA, SCR-274-N, and AN/ARC-5, this type of spline
was used in the AN/ARR-2 homing set, the A.R.C. Type 12, A.R.C. Type 15,
the AN/ARN-59 ADF, the AN/ARC-60, the RL-42-B/BC-461 trailing wire system,
and doubtless other systems.
AFAIK, a device such as that pictured could be of NO possible use in any
of the listed systems. OTOH, if both connections were the other gender,
one could at least imagine use to connect two MC-215 splines together.
In any event, what's shown is no longer a 6357 or MX-22/ARR-2 device.
