Au contraire.  I never click links unless it's to the site of someone whom 
I know.  It's dangerous.  I prefer it if whomever is posting a find just 
gives the item number.  Everyone knows what to do with that and it's far and 
away the quickest way to take a quick glance.  If a link, it must be one 
wherein the item number is visible for extraction.  Otherwise I delete all such 
posts with prejudice.
