[ARC5] Vint Hill

Vint Hill had the greatest officer's club. We used to go there all the time
for Mongolian barbecue. This was mostly in the late 70's and in the 80's. I
had a lot of ham friends working there and working for three letter
agencies, and it was no problem at all for me and my wife to accompany them
on those occasions. I remember having a several hour discussion one night,
at the bar, with Col. Holland, one of the hostages in Iran. 73 - Mike

Subject: Re: [ARC5] Vint Hill

At one time in my extracurricular employment I was asked to go down to
Vint Hill and repair a Model 35 Teletype set. They were not half as
tight, security-wise, as the U.S. Archives building in DC is now. My
late wife, Jo An, worked for NSA when I met her in 1959, and Vint Hill
was part of their monitoring network.
