I ran a WS 10, Mark II on 40 and 80 CW as a kid. Got my ham ticket in 1950 at age 15. I am age 74 not and have not "woke up to smell the rocking chair" as I am buying an LPTV station! I got one hell of a shock from the key until I realize they were keying the 275 volt B+ rail!  I ran the cathode of the 807 final thru the R/T relay so I also obviated the need for a +12 volt supply and was able to run all the heaters on AC.

With the cathode keying there was little or no chirp and I did not even use a regulated supply.

All in all I had a lot of fun with the WS 19. It was to ham radio what my Commodore 64 was to getting PC literate! Hi  Hi!

Long live the WS 19, Mark II !!!!

73,

Meyer
