All the eBay web pages I just checked have a small link at the very
bottom that says: "eBay official time". Just click it. It gives you a
time snap shot of the time you made your click (not a running clock
you can watch).
You can get an adjusted-for-internet-transit time at www.time.gov The
java display you get gives you the accuracy to expect (just now 0.9
seconds for me here in mid new york.) I compared this with the eBay
official time from above and they matched within about three seconds.
