...and Everybody,

Whenever I have the opportunity I show some of my old toys to a much
younger generation and I emphasize the ages of the gear. I have some of
it put up waiting for such things as a recap. That allows me to also
point out that parts are still available for electronic equipment that
was built in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. I ask them how long they think this
computer (or theirs) will last and whether it can be repaired easily. I
think seeds are getting planted in some of those younger people's minds.
