In looking over one of my two BC-453B radios i see on the back stamped:

Contract NO W-2121-SC, SER NO 764. That's on the left side of the connector that plugs into the rack. On the right side its marked:
BC-453-B, 190-550 Kc. All this in yellow ink. On the left side (front of radio to the left) a square tag in white with black border saying: NOTICE Connected for low impedance output. Then further to the rear is:

SAAMA 00-35A-40 (looks like a 4 anyway).
Low impedance
per T.O. 16-1-49 (?), Sept 1959 it looks like, again all in orange ink.

Has the SC 1336 stamp in an orange square more towards the rear.

I've seen markings on ARC-5 types but nothing like this on BC-45X receivers.

Unfortunately it has an ARC-5 cover. anyone have a nice black wrinkle top cover for an SCR-274N receiver. trade the ARC-5 cover.
