I suspect you'll find an ARB LF/MF/HF receiver under all the crud.

It would be surprising if there wasn't a ZB-* homing adapter attached
to the top of that ARB, or maybe an AN/ARR-2 homing receiver somewhere.
Plus maybe an ABK, ABF, or AN/APX-2 IFF.

It sounds like there's a lot of work for your restoration crew.  It
would be interesting to know what all equipment you find on board.
