On my set, for 75 meters, I put a 75 pFd, 1000V NPO cap in
series with the antenna lead. I mounted it inside the plug-in coil set.
The set now tunes-up to full output right into a 50-Ohm dummy load.
Higher voltage would be better, but this works fine.
With the large cap to ground, I'd worry about circulating losses,
but then "whatever works" :).
I haven't found the best value for 40 yet, but it's going to
be somewhere around 50 pFd.
