And which GF do you have?

The later GF such as the -11 and -12 are markedly
different from the BC-230/430 sets.  Some of the
earlier GF are closer to the BC-230, but others
will have to comment on what those differences are.

The GF-11 has push pull output, and is suppressor
modulated. The BC-230 is single ended output and
is plate modulated. The two have completely different
tube lineups.

The companion receivers also are different, the later
RU series has a BFO, the BC-229/429 does not.
