Ken

My GF11 rig was nice to look at but don't remember the receiver as being
particularly selective. The non direct freq. reading on the transmitter
earned my only pink ticket! Beautiful silver-plated plug-in coil assemblies:
I was told that some sold the coild just for the silver content.
I enjoyed using the rig. Nice RF ammeter, too - I liked that white-on-black
meter scale and indicator needle and its rapid movement
The Germans made extensive use of regeneration in their TRF receivers to
improve selectivty (and sensitivity).
Isn't regeneration also used in the RAL? (Or is it the RAK or maybe both - I
could check it out.)
