Certainly NOT on the Collector leads.

They might help some on the power leads, but because of the low switching
frequency < hundreds of Hz, they likely won't have enough inductance.

Certainly a Pi filter C-L-C, where L is 10s of mH and C is 50 uF or so
will help a lot. You'll have to play some. For the L you might consider a
gapped Ferrite cup core (gapped to prevent saturation by the DC flux).

You will be surprised how much tightly twisting wires helps,

You should twist the following pairs, in order of importance.:

Collector leads
+28 and 28R
Base leads
