[ARC5] hiroshima A bomb

I believe it was one of the radio altimeter units that showed up on the  
surplus market in the late 40s to early 50s.  The prized part in the unit  was 
the "Wobulator" which was a nifty little split stator capacitor deposited 
on  a bowl shaped ceramic that was attached to a PM speaker scheme that that 
formed  the moving (pseudo rotor) part of the capacitor.  They formed the FM 
part  of the altimeter transmitter.  Can't recall the nomenclature, but 
they were  cheap items at Standard Surplus on San Francisco's Market Street.   
Usually less than 5 bucks with dynamotor, wobulator and toooobs.
