Short answer is No. The manuals say no. TM 11-300 (the final edition) says 
the Signal Corps DC-9's are wired to 3 and 7. Three different LM manuals 
(two NAVAER and one NAVSHIPS) say that the Navy 40023B is wired to 2 and 6. But 
because these are mirror images I still didn't believe it. It wouldn't have 
been the first time that an error got copied forward for years, decades or 
centuries. So I went to the shop, fired up my TS-330A, and tested two of 
each. Four different contractors. s'fact. Not the same. Who'd'a thunk it?
