In the first exciting installment, we saw that compatibility was
inconsistant between versions, and I asked for some information as to
what the reasons for the incompatabilities were & what of the
questionable ones fit with what. (Okay, not in so many words, for
which I apologize {I guess} but it was pretty much ignored anyway so
it really doesn't matter.)
Now we get to look at coil sets and the rather bewildering array of
them that approaches (and may even surpass in bewilderage) that of the
GF/RU systems. Note that the AN, AO, AR and AS versions - all
supposedly compatabile and interchangeable - used different coil set
designators for what were the same coils yet it took from the AB & AC
versions to the AN version to skip forward from the 140s to the 270s.
The only intermediary step of which I'm aware is in the 180s including
the [in]famous C-182 transmitting coil set.
A lot of this would be be made infinitely easier with a copy of the
elusive TM 11-200 as well as info on the systems not covered in it so
if someone has a copy to sell or will copy sections of it/them for me
(Yes, I'll cover copying costs.), I'd like to know about it.
So, without further ado ...

If anyone can add to these, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Also, I'm still interested in any Model D equipment that's been hacked
as well as the pieces needed to complete a GF/RU setup as originally
intended.
Thank you.
Best regards,
