[ARC5] SCR-774

Anyone out there in radioland know what an SCR-774 is? A book I am reading says that the first production model of the P-47, the P-47B, had an SCR-774 radio.

Furthermore, an Internet search brought up a post by a guy who says that his first ham equipment was some "SCR-774 ARC-5 receivers." A photo provided of his restored equipment shows some very conventional looking natural aluminum Type K Command sets, the usual suspects, in a three receiver rack.

The 171 P-47B's built came out of the factory in March through September of 1942
