John,
Admittedly eBay have been going out of their way these past 19 months to
make things more difficult, especially for sellers. But if you scroll down to
the bottom of the screen with the canned answers you will find a Contact
Seller button. Clicking it brings up the old screen where you have to select
one of the four silly subjects before you can write your question.
Also, before you send the question, make sure that there is something in
the Subject line that will identify the item you are asking about. This is
another one of their stupid changes, where under some circumstances (finished
auctions being the one we know about), even if you start the process from an
ad screen, eBay does not bother to tell the seller what item you are asking
about. We get three or four of these every other Sunday afternoon.
