Wow,Dave!

?I tried an X-ACTO knife and got ragged edges..I was trying to do a GF tube cover.I managed to make it "passable" at best.What glue to use? I had felt with no glue.I don't remember what I used back then but I would think that the glues of the era would be considered "hide" glues(rendered animal).(Remember the book Animal Farm?? "Off to the Glue Factory....)..

You can get the green felt with glue on the backing, ready
to replace the lining in your receiver. 
 In case you ever wondered about how to cut the stuff
to fit correctly- you don't.  Use a small soldering iron.
It will melt out the holes and edges, leaving you with a 
good fit.
