I've got it opened up and I see some non original wireing.Two small
guage wires to the rear connector and an "after market" (read Ham
modification) audio transformer mounted on the right side panel.I just
don't think GE would use an open frame audio transformer.Hopefully all
this is either useable as is or easily returned to "original". Other
than these observations the receiver looks un modified and in very good
condition.Seems like 12SK7's were popular back then!There's 5!
Thanks again for your encouragement.I would like to do a side by side
with my ARB.

Hi Jay,
I've had one of these for over 20 years...built a little power supply
on the back...no manual, sri.
It's just sitting on the floor now, no room on the operating table.
Needs caps replaced, but I was impressed at how sensitive it is.
Neat little rig.....you will enjoy, no doubt!
