No. The SCR-274-N included a local control plug-in, the FT-260-A, but this
isn't it. The seller apparently took the same type liberties with the
nomenclature that he did with the R-13B (Type 12) and some of the rest of his
listings. The FT-260's were relatively scarce even in the late 40's. It is
the functional equivalent to the FT-260. But this appears to be a converted
FT-230-A, and given the silk-screened lettering I would guess commercially
done. If you look at the photo in the ad, you can see to the left and right
the hollow rivet ends of the posts that mount the connector at the rear. In
the FT-260, these are located top and bottom. And the FT-260 has a rotary
switch, not a toggle switch. If you download the photo and zoom in, you can
see evidence in the center that the hole for the pull knob has been plugged
and painted with flat black paint.
