I was wrong: it is NOT in the TC-* series: the correct 
Heathkit model is the TT-1.

TT-1

It is a Heathkit copy of the Hickok 539, both of which 
normally sell on eBay for around $500.00 each.

I should have figured it out: 

TC = Tube CHECKER, while 
TT = Tube TESTER.

Obvious, when you think about it.
