Mike:

I have an R509/ARC with serial number 2. (Order 3114 PP 59.)

There is a stamp that consists of a white circle enclosing a B flanked by a character I can't read on the left side, a W on the right with a 2 below the B.

Any ideas on the significance of the stamp?

Sincerely,

Dave WA4OBJ

This is the first A.R.C. Type 12 set (an R-11A) that I've ever seen with
Stromberg-Carlson clearly indicated as the manufacturer on the nomenclature
tag:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200357741589

I was looking through some of my odds and ends and found an almost new condition
R-509/ARC (A.R.C. R-15A) Serial Number 1 (on order number 47544-Phila-56).

I think the only other single digit serial number item I have is a rare RT-655/TRC-88,
which is a USB/CW version of the common RT-654/TRC-77. It's serial number 9.
