Was just thinking.... F.P. & Co. were already in full production 
of ATA/ARA at the time SCR-274N got the "green light."  
It was only a matter of re-tagging  the radios and other parts 
to start delivery.
That the Aircorps would wait around for W.E.Co to ramp-up 
while under the "get it done now" command of FDR
would make no sense at all.  
My money is still says the 1500 order 1470-NY-41 sets
were built by A.R.C.'s work force.
