If you have busted ARC-5 series IF transformers the pins from those will
work as I have used them. It has been a long time ago, now that I think of
it some more, the pins may have been in the sockets and they had to be taken
apart. They are inserted into mica. So, check out receiver carcasses. 73 -

I see in the recent issue of Electric Radio an article on ARC-5 gear
and making plugs using scrapped pins or new mini banana pins and the
author wondered if there was a source for the new pins. I recall some
time ago that someone had offered a supply of them here and wonder
where they came from (I bought some then but do not now recall the
situation). It may be worth sending a note to ER about where they can
be obtained. FWIW, I found a stash of the mini banana pins at a local
parts place, if the original supply has dried up.
