Yes, the AN/TRC-1 was, though not very desirable for ham use,
an important advance.  These show up pretty often on ebay,
with few takers.

BTW, that should be the T-14(*)/TRC-1 transmitter, with the 
R-19(*)/TRC-1 receiver.  The only JAN T-19 is the T-19/ARC-5
3 to 4 MHz transmitter.
