But ... but.  Do we have any indication that any of these amplifiers  
were actually SOLD and are in use?

I know a fellow who owns a 1993 512-TR Testarosa Ferrari.  Only 150 of  
them are in the US.  He drives it.  But only in good weather.  It  
lives in the garage were he works on radios.  I was there one day  
helping him work on a Desk Kilowatt.  As we wrestled the thing around  
the floor I said:  "Look out we don't scratch the paint on that red  
car!"  We were very careful.  No 304TL's were harmed that day.
