Ah! Good point...if the brush caps are stuck, then a non-burring method 
of removal is needed.  A collet is the best method, but failing that, 
you can back down the list of cylindrical workpiece holders - a six jaw 
chuck, then a four jaw chuck, then a three jaw (common with most 
electric drills.)  By the time you get to a three jaw chuck or a pair of 
pliers with a roughly round shape in the jaws, you'll need some serious 
padding to keep from scratching the knurled pattern on the brush caps.  
Cardboard is useful in this situation.  Let us know how it turns out, John!
