My (Swedish) Grandmother told a story about how Grandpa came back from  
nearby Quincy harbor (Boston, MA) one day with a wheel barrow full of  
eels. The bay had frozen and he'd speared them through a hole in the  
ice.

She got all upset because the eels wiggled out of the wheelbarrow and  
all over the sidewalk.

But I wander from topic. Tempura is Japanese, not Swedish, right?
