Ken was there a note on cranking OUT the internal loading coil AND
introducing a series variable cap to tune out link reactance?  If
so, this's is EXACTLY the right thing to do to feed coax.

One popsicle stick jams the antenna bus-select relay closed & you have
a no-impact "adaptation."

But maybe there's another, better way.  The conversion of output tank to
pi-net, like I did as a kid, is worser by todays norms.
