While I'm in utter and total agreement with this, who's the newbie?
We have the original poster of the item by number who's a veteran of
the lists; the person who made the original complaint, also a list
vet; the initial responder, also a vet ... and so on.

Of course, I also think the original complaint was a bit much and
apparently was not that of the vocal majority thus disproving at least
one part of it.  Oh, well.  That's just me.
