I agree with you 100%.
These aircraft of course can be flown, and it's great that they still fly.
But there is a difference between flying and stressing them to the
breaking point (including that of the pilot...), considering they're
irreplaceable relics.
It's like putting 1000 V on a Command Set transmitter to see what the
output is going to be. Obviously, smoke! Except, most likely, no loss of
life...
