Hello Tom,

Wow thanks for the heads up. I called the museum and asked about a trade for
some PBY stuff and they are going to present it to their board of directors.

Thanks again,
Taigh

I recently returned from a trip to Oak Harbor WA (NAS Whidbey) and while I
was there I visited the PBY Museum. They have quite a bit of memorabilia,
but no airplane, unfortunately. Not too many Catalinas floating (pun)
around.

In the museum, sitting on the floor with a couple of other bits of radio
gear (including a transponder from a MIG-21- go figure!) was an absolutely
pristine BC-375E with PE-73 dyno. Not a scratch on it, obviously never
installed in an aircraft. I peeked inside and the VT-4s were there!

Since the BC-375 was not appropriate to the PBY, perhaps some "horsetrading"

for the appropriate radios might be a worthy endeavor.
