As someone else has stated, go to your eBay page,
click on "My essages" at the left side.  Any  REAL
message from eBay will be shown there.  If it is not,
then the other message is phishing and should not
be replied to.  Sending to spoof at eBay is always a
good thing to do when there is   ANY   suspicion
whatsover when you get a message that insinuates
that it is from eBay.

I'm strongly inclined to think it is genuine for several reasons,
including that none of the links in the original email went to any
(possible phishing) site and no information was sought. It also had not
only my email address, but also my user ID. Phishers don't connect the two
in general. There are other reasons too, which I won't list.

I just forwarded the message to spoof at ebay.com to test my belief.  It has
not been identified as a fraud.
