That is interesting.  I'd never heard of a CONFIDENTIAL book on ZB/YG ypes of systems.

I have a copy of the "Preliminary Instruction Book" for the ZB-2, same contract date.  It's RESTRICTED.  I have a copy of the AN/ARR-2 Operating Instructions dated 01 MAY 1944.  It's RESTRICTED.  I have a copy of the AN/ARR-2 Maintenance Instructions dated 1953.  It's UNCLASSIFIED.

It's odd that early in WWII they apparently raised the ZB and AN/ARR-1 classification to CONFIDENTIAL, but a couple of years later when the more advanced AN/ARR-2 system was out, they lowered that more capable system to RESTRICTED.  Doesn't seem too logical!
