There's a rumor that a YH transmitter was built for beach landings.  An
ARR-1 sat on some big landing craft so they'd hit the beach in the right
place.

You can modulate a HP-608C set @ ~200mhz w. a URM-25 @ ~1000kc that in 
turn is modulated by ur portable MP3 player.  Outa the ARR-1 comes
contemporary music via the good offices of 1938 sub-carrier tech.

Know one ret. Navy flyer who sed they'da never gotten back to
island SBD bases w/o a YG-ZB aboard... "the islands all looked 
the same"
