Is this the kit that enabled intallation of the CDA-T? (I am not the
person you are looking for). But I would be interested to see the
contents of that "legal" conversion kit.I sent my conversion documents
to our friend in Houston some years ago.I recall a comment in the
instruction sheet that 10 man-hours were required to do all the work.

Subject: [ARC5] Did You Get A Crystal Kit for you ART-13?

Years ago, I sold a crystal-control conversion kit to someone
on one of these lists. Right after I mailed it,
life events lead me to put the majority of everything in storage,
where it stayed for almost seven years. A few years ago,
some of the parts for that kit "surfaced" from the chaos of storage
and I managed to contact the buyer and send them along,
but Father Time has now robbed me of who it was.
Well, we've finally recovered and are back in a home,
so the stuff is slowly coming out of storage.
(got my SCR-287 back on the air and making QSOs
 at last; Hurry!).

I found, down in the bottom of another old box,
yet another bag of parts for that kit!
It may be a long shot after all this time, but if you are
the one that bought the kit, please send me an
email so I can send you these pieces (bracket,
some pre-made cables w/connectors and hardware).
If I can't find the person, I'll send it to our
resident ART-13-to-crystal expert in Houston ;-).
