[ARC5] 28 MHz ARC-5/SCR-274-N?

Hi All,

Was there ever a special version of the ARC-5 or SCR-274-N made that covered 
28 Mc or in that area? I ask because a local amateur recalls having 
something of that kind just after WWII. I know CQ did an article on 
converting the BC-455 to 10m but I'm referring to an "official" conversion 
or purpose-built unit. Most likely, he's confusing a unit of those series 
with something else, it being 60-odd years ago.
