No, the $363 was the price of one receiver, without the rack or any of 
the accessories. Actually the SCR-274-N was pretty sophisticated for the 
time when it was designed, in 1937-38, Remember the Air Corps and Navy 
were still buying the RU/GFand SCR-183  tuned radio frequency (not 
superhet) units well into WW II. Yes,  FM and crystal control existed,  
but crystals were still pretty large, there was not yet a synthesizer, 
and crystals were in very short supply. The SCR-240 crystal controlled 
command set that was rejected by the flying services was too heavy and 
bulky certainly for fighter aircraft.
