Mike and Groups

Finally,a response of sorts to similar topics I posted some time last
year.
I have a AN-104-B and a AN-74A antenna(s). The -104- has a thin metal
sheath painted silver and the -74A also has a metal sheath but painted
O.D.The -104- has a hole in the tip of the mast whereas the -74A has a
small flange(?) with the hole for securing the HF antenna.I have no
other info on these but both are VHF aircraft antennas of WWII era and
probably way beyond.
The -104- has 6 braided flat grounding straps. The -74A has a lug to
which a ground wire can be crimped.
Any documentation of these antennas would be most welcome and
compensation gladly provided.
Happy New Year to all!
