I've seen several different examples of these Canadian-design control boxes before.  The nomenclature for control boxes start with "CC" instead of the JAN-standard "C" similar to the way "CRT" was used instead of "RT" in the CPRC-26 set.  I'll bet the extra "C" stood for "Canadian."  :-)

This particular unit looks like a BC-473 using a special connector quite different from the standard PL-152 type of connector used in the US equivalent.
