Hello Dean,

Yes, this is the same project and Gary owns the shop that is restoring it
for Collings. His shop is the one in the second link that was on my original
e-mail.

As an update they now have the transmitters and receivers but are still
looking for the racks, shock mounts, modulator, antenna relay, connectors
and control heads. Natural metal racks and mounts will work for them as they
can refinish them in wrinkle until they locate the correct ones.

If anyone has any equipment to donate or sell to them let me know and I will
give you there contact information. They also need an IFF set SCR-695.

Thanks for your help,
Taigh

Hello,

I have been talking to the folks at Colling’s foundation who are restoring a
North American A-36 Apache. The Colling’s Foundation is the group that flies
the restored B-17G, B-24Jand B-25J around the country for display and rides.

I received the following request about 3 weeks ago and have responded to him
to check in on ARC5 and milsurplus at mailman.qth.net:

Hi,

We are currently restoring a North American A-36A Dive Bomber to airworthy
condition. In our attempt for originality we need to locate the following,
any help would be great.

SCR-695-A Control Box & Tray

SCR-274-N Antenna Relay & Tray

SCR-695-A Radio Reciever & Tray

Thanks Gary Norville

I assume that it is one in the same request as I doubt there are many A-36
aircraft being restored at this time.
