[ARC5] "after Market" control boxes etc.

Hi, Jay,

Several companies made aftermarket control panels for the Type 12
equipment, Stratocon being one I knew of before for sure. They were
made for custom installations, usually instrument panel racks (the
things the plastic panels with the Dzus fasteners on each side mount
on) to combine functions or replace an existing metal box with a panel
one that was never made. In any event, having a hardwired cable isn't
unusual for a panel mount box, though it's not common either.

I suspect there's a letter missing (I perhaps?) since A through K is
11 channels which doesn't make sense since the sets had 5 channels
apiece, except those equipped with the 10 channel adapter which is a
whole 'nother adventure.

If you would do me the honor of taking pictures of the box and
emailing them to me, I would greatly appreciate it. They would make a
cool addition to the book I'm working on, properly credited, of
course. Credit where credit is due ... always a good policy. <G>

Best regards,

Michael, K3MXO/KH6
