Group,
A while back I aquired from the "the place of aquisition that cannot
be named" a progect A.R.C. type 12 that appears to be a C.A.P project
that was never completed or possibly just someone who wanted a portable
aircraft set.Anyway,it's a wooden base with an R-19 mounted and a
wooden panel above it with a control box made by M.J.Johnson,Aircraft
Engineering Co.
R-4002,s/n215,28V.It has the A.R.C. crank and spline drive, dial goes
118 -148 Mc,has a LO-HI switch,SENS,OFF switch/pot and a TRANS A-K
channel select switch. No connector on the back, but an ~8ft cable
hardwired and strain reliefed at the box. Does anyone know about this
company?I can probably figure out the wireing and it's probably a knock
off of an existing A.R.C. box.
The wood base had holes drilled for a T-13 Tx shock mount which was
not included but which I have. Also, a homemade antenna on a lucite
base.(and a 4 ft spline cable!).Hopefully getting this progect finished
will get me on the road to all the other ones waiting in the endless
que!
 Thanks,
 Jay KE6PP
PS The T-13 is supposed to have a widgit thingy that looks like a
multiple tube shield and is missing from my T-13.Anyone have a
spare? This thingy was evidently required to allow operation through 148
MHz.
