1. Attempt the job only if you have the correct tools for
unscrewing the grub screws in the knob and the lock screws
in the flexible shaft couplings. All other tools will ruin these
screws.
2. From memory, the second capacitor from the front which
is the 1625 tank "calibrate" capacitor (which is fix-locked)
must be removed before the front one and its dial gears can
be removed. Be prepared to have to unsolder and remove it.
3. When re-fitting the dial, be careful to fit it onto the tiny
locating pin before tightening the nut. It's easy to forget this
pin and you will destroy it (and the VFO freq/dial relationship)
if you don't seat the dial onto the pin.
