Another little quirk is that the ARA and SCR-274-N receivers all bring receiver audio transformer output to pin 4 of the connector that mates up to the front panel adapter box.

But the AN/ARC-5 receivers do *NOT*.  The R-23 and R-24 navigation receivers do bring a modified and somewhat filtered audio from the cathode of the 12A6 to pin 4 for low audio frequency localizer signals through the MX-19 ILS adapter box.  The MF/HF communications receivers R-25, 26, 27 don't bring *any* audio to the front panel connector.

Of course, a non-original wire could be run to one of the unused terminals.

And that's not advisable if the box hasn't already been ham-hacked.  These items are getting hard to find!
