I understand your frustration with eBay sellers that do not give detailed
answers to your questions, but I can report that I've never once seen a purchase
come from a fellow that asked complex questions. Actually very few ever even
bid! Some have prefaced their questions with a statements like "I'm not going
to bid, but I'd really like to know if there are three screws or four on top
of the capcitor under the left-center cover of the URX-952(G) that you have on
eBay." I answer their inquiry if I can, but I doubt very many sellers would.
These folks are using eBay as a research tool.

While I personally enjoy helping folks, and will dig deep to provide answers
about my gear in the hope that someday when I need an answer someone will help
me, you've got to admit there is little business incentive to answer such
questions. And *business* is why most people sell things - on eBay or elsewhere.

If you see something that looks like it might be what you are looking for,
why just ask the questions and then get frustrated? I recommend that you also
then bid whatever is reasonable for you and hope you get it. If it turns out
to not be the special item you needed, then sell it to someone else.
