And I hate to contradict Gordon, but the jumper in the
FT-230 is in the A+ line, or the low voltage line feeding
the filaments and dynamotor.

In order to use the FT-260 local control adapter, you
also need a PL-192 in the rack, to replace the cable
going to the control box.  The jumper that was in the
FT-230 moved to the PL-192.
