Floyd,

The adaptor for remote control is the FT-230. 99% of receivers will have
this one (at least originally). The adaptor with headset jack, RF Gain pot and
OFF-CW-VOICE rotary switch is the FT-260.

Early production FT-230's, and AFAIK all ARA production have all 8 contacts
on the socket, although only two are used. Later production dropped all but
two of the contacts. It was moderately common (I did some in those days) to in
effect convert FT-230's to FT-260's. It was less common (fortunately) to
remove the connector and tie the wires directly to the pins in the jack box. Be
sure to check all of the receivers you have first, to see whether some might
still have the intact connector.

I'm relatively sure that none of the Command Set receivers in my storage
building have an actual FT-260 or ARA or AN/ARC-5 equivalent. But the law of
averages says that some are likely to have an already modified FT-230 that you can
turn into an FT-260 or maybe even one neatly enough done that you wouldn't
mind using it as is. However, before I start looking through what I have, which
is not readily accessable (takes about an hour just to go over there and come
back), maybe someone else on the list will have one handy.
