But imagine the wire coming undone and all those beads getting into every nook and craney in the airplane!

Anyone know if the GO-9 was ever supplied without the Intermediate Frequency Transmitter?The one I have is this way with the left cover mounted to the power supply.
 And,does anyone have an 800 cy inverter they no longer need?

This may not be as clear as I intended it - the 1/4" mentioned above is 
the length beyond the end of the last ceramic bead (or spark plug wire 
insulation, if that type of wire is used.)
